Hilda Zamora
Attorney, Speaker, Author, Life Coach, Visionary Leader, and staunch advocate for Latinas
“I came for everything because I started with nothing.”

Who is Hilda Zamora?
Hilda has dedicated her life to giving a voice to the voiceless.
For women, especially Latinas, “calladita te ves más bonita” (“you’re prettier when you’re quiet”) is a far too familiar trope.
From an early age, little girls are taught that in order to be good girls, they must keep quiet. To be respectful, they must be seen and not heard.
Hilda was no different.
She learned from a very early age to remain quiet and stifle her voice.
But as the years passed and the external pressures of society’s expectations weighed heavily on her shoulders, Hilda began to experience a shift.
After years of working on her mindset and on breaking the generational traumas, barriers, and beliefs that were holding her back, a fire was ignited within her.
She realized… My voice is my power.
Hilda is dedicated to igniting that same fire within the Latino community.
Realizing that there are not many Latinx life coaches and supporters for Latinas specifically, Hilda is passionate about stepping up to represent Latinas everywhere by telling her story and inspiring women to take action in their own lives.
And to turn up the volume to your voice within.
Because mujer, YOUR VOICE IS YOUR POWER.
“You are seen, you are heard, and you matter.”
Life & Experience
Born in Mexico, Hilda immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 5 to work in the fields with her parents and five siblings.
And after almost a decade, Hilda attended school for the very first time at age 9.
Despite facing both a language barrier and cultural differences in school for several years, Hilda persevered through those challenges to eventually graduate top of her class in grade school.
Hilda then moved on to become a first-generation college graduate, earning both a Bachelors and Masters degree.
Desiring to serve and support her community, Hilda earned her Juris Doctorate degree, becoming part of the 2% of Latina Attorneys in the US.
Hilda’s reputation and positive impact within her community has earned her the title La Defensora del Pueblo – The People’s Defender.
And now she’s taking her story, lessons and advice across the country to inspire Latina women everywhere to discover, ignite and reinvent themselves—to live the life they always dreamed of and become la mujer poderosa they are meant to be.
